Belgian Pea Salad

Ingredients
- 1 can french style green beans
- 1 can white corn (shoe peg)
- 1 can LeSuer peas (baby peas)
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1 medium onion chopped (not red onion)
- 1 green bell pepper
- 1 jar pimento (not smallest size – 1 up)
- Be sure to drain all of the above.
- Original Dressing
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup cider vinegar (sit and dissolve with above and then whisk)
- 1/2 cup canola oil
- 1 t salt
- 1/2 t pepper
Preparation
Step 1
Mix all of the above in a sauce pan and boil, pick up and stir, then heat again, and repeat until sugar completely dissolved.
Fold together with veggies.
Chill overnight or 24 hours
