Ingredients
- Optional Toppings:
- 5 eggs
- 3/4 c milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tbls apple pie spice
- 18 slices of bread
- 4 tbls butter
- For the Whipping Cream
- 1 pint heavy whipping cream
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbls powdered sugar
- 16 oz can apple pie filling
- 1/2 c maple syrup

Step 1
In shallow dish whisk eggs, milk, vanilla, and apple pie spice. Melt butter over griddle. Lightly dip bread in egg mixture. Cook slices until golden brown, then flip to cook on both sides.
Server with Maple syrup and cinnamon whipped cream and apple pie filling.
To make cinnamon whipped cream: In large chilled bowl, using mixer set on med-high speed, beat the cream, sugar, cinnamon, until stiff peaks form. Do not overbeat.
