Commander's Palace Garlic Bread

Ingredients
- 1 loaf French bread, about 14 inches long
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 cup parsley, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Preparation
Step 1
Slice the French bread lengthwise.
Melt the butter in a small skillet, add the garlic powder, and heat for 2 minutes. Brush the butter-garlic mixture on the cut side of the French bread halves. Sprinkle the bread with parsley and Parmesan cheese. Cut each half crosswise into 1-inch slices. Heat the bread in a 375º oven for 5-8 minutes.
Serve immediately.
