Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 20 oz can (about 2 cups) crushed pineapple, in juice.
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • Icing: 8 oz. cream cheese, 4 T butter, 3 cups confectioners sugar, 1 tsp vanilla
  • Beat cream cheese till creamy, add vanilla, slowly add sugar and blend after each additions. Ice cake while still warm.

Mix all together till smooth, pour into greased 9 x 13 baking dish. Bake 350 25-30 mins. If using glass dish, bake 325 30-40 mins, watch it after 25 mins
