Ingredients
- The Cake:
- 1 (15 oz) box butter pecan cake mix
- 1 (16 oz) tub coconut pecan frosting
- 4 eggs
- 3/4 cup oil
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup pecan pieces
- The Sauce:
- 1 (14oz) can sweetened condensed milk
- 2 tablespoon butter
- 1/2 cup pecan pieces
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9 by 13 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. In a medium bowl combine all the cake ingredients except for the chopped pecans and the coconut pecan frosting to the cake batter. When well mixed add chopped pecans. Pour batter into baking dish. Bake for 40 minutes. In a small pot over medium heat melt 2 tablespoon butter pour in can of sweetened condensed milk stir and continue to stir until heated thoroughly then add 1/2 cup chopped pecans stir again then take off heat. Pour over cake and enjoy.
