Ingredients
- 1 stick butter -- at room temperature
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup banana -- mashed
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup walnuts or pecans -- chopped
Preparation
Step 1
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Butter a 9 x 5 x 3 loaf pan. With a mixer, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, beating well. Sift the dry ingredients together and combine with the butter mixture. Blend well. Add bananas, sour cream and vanilla. Sir in nuts and pour into pan. (maybe not ALL batter!!)
Bake one hour or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Turn onto rack to cool.
