Bourbon Balls

Mother would make these cookies for Daddy to take to work and share the last day he worked before Christmas. You could get drunk just smelling the cookie tin. I suspect little work got done at Ehrhardt after lunch that day.

Ingredients

• 1 c vanilla wafer crumbs
• 1 c chopped nuts (pecans or walnuts)
• 2 T cocoa
• 1 c sifted powdered sugar
• 1/4 c bourbon
• 1 1/2 T corn syrup

Preparation

Step 1

Mix all ingredients.
Shape into 1 inch balls (or desired size)
Roll in powdered sugar
Refrigerate
