Ingredients
- 500 strong baker's flour
- 1 tsp caster sugar
- 7 g sachet dried instant yeast
- pinch of bicarbonate of soda
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

Step 1
Place all ingredients into a food processor with 2t salt. Pour in 600ml tepid water. Blitz all the ingredients together until you've got a loose batter. Leave to stand for 10 minutes to let the yeast develop. The mixture should be quite wet, just about dripping consistency.
Grease metal rings with oil. Place a non stick frypan on medium heat. Pop the rings into the dry pan, and when hot, spoon some mixture into each ring until it's 1 cm deep. Turn the heat to low and leae for 15 minutes to cook through. Check pan is not getting too hot. After 15 minutes, once bubbles on top have formed, turn over, using tongs to remove rings. Cook for another 5-10 minutes until cooked right through.
