Ice Cream Sandwich Cake

This is so easy to make, simple and kids will love it. You could also use a thin layer of cherry pie filling or sliced bananas between layers.

Ingredients

• 12 to 16 good quality ice cream sandwiches
• 1 large container cool whip or homemade or spray sweetened whipped cream

Preparation

Step 1

Line a pan with plastic wrap, stack ice cream sandwiches alternating direction for each layer. As mentioned above could add a thin layer of pie filling, suggest cherry or strawberry. Or sliced bananas. Once assembled, place in freezer for at least an hour. Remove from freezer just 10 minutes before serving. Cover with Coolwhip or whipped cream of your liking just before serving.
