Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 onion -- chopped
- 1/2 green pepper -- chopped
- 2 tablespoons mild chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 3 cups beef broth
- 1 28 oz. can crushed tomatoes
- 1 can red kidney beans, drained
- 2 cups elbow macaroni -- cooked
- 6 oz cheddar cheese -- grated
Preparation
Step 1
In a heavy chili pot, brown ground beef and drain off the fat. Add onions, green pepper, chili powder, and cumin and saute 2 additional minutes. Stir in broth, tomatoes and kidney beans. Cook for 45 minutes.
Serve chili over macaroni and top with cheddar cheese.
