Ingredients
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 cups water
- zest of one lemon, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
- Combine sugar and water in a saucepan. Bring to boiling point, lowerheat and simmer 5 minutes. Cool to room temperature. Stir in chopped lemon zest and lemon juice. Chill. Freeze in ice cream maker.
