Manicotti/ Ginny's

Ingredients

  • Manicotti Tubes (boiled and drained)
  • 1 1/2 ob. Hamburger
  • 1/2 Cup Milk
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/2 lb. Mozarella (4 oz) Cheese
  • 3 slices Bread (crumbs)
  • Minced Onion
  • Parsley Flakes
  • Salt and Pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Boil and drain manicotti tubes for 10-12 mins. (4 -6 at a time) in water. Add a little vegetable oil to the water to prevent sticking. Place in cold water until ready to stuff. Brown Hamb. and drain. Add milk, egg, cheese, bread and seasonings to taste. Blend well. Stuff mixture into cooled manicotti tubes.
In Saucepan bring to a boil:
2 T. Vegetable oil
3 - 8 oz. Tomato Sauce
1 1/4 Cups Water
Simmer for 20 mins. Pour over stuffed manicotti.
Optional: Use Large spaghetti Ragu sauce.
Add Presti's.
(put in Pyrex dish and cover with Ragu)
Bake 45 mins. at 350 degrees. (cover with foil)
