Ingredients
- 1 cup onion, diced
- 1 T vegetable oil
- 1 t minced garlic
- 2 T apple cider
- 2 cans black beans (15 oz), rinsed, drained
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 2 T chipotles in adobo sauce, minced
- 1 t dry mustard
- 1 t Worcestershire sauce
- Salt to taste

Preparation
Step 1
Saute onion in oil in a large saute pan over medium heat until softened, about 3 minutes. Stir in garlic and cook 1 minute. Deglaze with vinegar and bring to a boil. Add remaining ingredients and simmer 10 minutes.
