  • 2 sticks butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 bag chocolate chips
  • 1 bag peanut butter chips
  • Saltine Crackers (1 1/2 sleeves)



Step 1

Chocolate Saltine Toffee Squares

Preheat over to 350°F.

Spread saltines across cookie sheet to make 1 layer.

In a saucepan, melt butter. Add sugar and bring to a boil – boil 2-3 minutes until mixture gets frothy.

Pour melted butter/sugar mixture over saltines. Spread evenly over layer of crackers using a long icing spatula.

Put cookie sheet in oven and bake about 10 minutes until it starts bubbling.

Take cookie sheet out of oven and pour chocolate & peanut butter chips on top. Wait a few minutes until the chips start melting. Spread evenly using a long icing spatula.

Refrigerate overnight. Break into 1 ½ - 2 inch pieces.
