Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs shrimp
- 1/4 t salt
- 1/8 t pepper
- 3 T olive oil
- 1/2 c shallots
- 3/4 c heavy whipping cream
- 6 fresh sage leaves
- hot cooked pasta
Preparation
Step 1
Sprinkle shrimp with salt and pepper. In a large skillet sauté in olive oil for 1 1/2 - 2 minutes on each side. Remove and keep warm. In the same skillet, sauté shallots in remaining oil till tender. Add cream; bring to a boil. Cook and stir for 30 seconds or till slightly thickened.
Return shrimp to the pan; heat through. Stir in sage. Serve with pasta.
