  • 1 double recipe pie crust
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon (opt.)
  • 6 c. blueberries*
  • 1 T. lemon juice
  • 1 T. butter
  • fresh or frozen

Preparation

Step 1

Prepare bottom crust.  Mix sugar, flour & cinnamon.  Stir in blueberries.  Spoon into crust.  Sprinkle with lemon juice.  Dot with butter.  Cover with top crust; seal, flute & vent.  Cover edge with foil to prevent burning.  Bake at 425° for 35-45 minutes or until crust is golden brown & juice begins to bubble through slits in crust.  Remove foil last 15 minutes.  Cool at least 2 hours before serving.
