Pasta with Asparagus & Parmesan

  • 1/2 lb lemon pepper pasta
  • 8 oz asparagus tips
  • 1/2 stick unsalted butter, cut into pieces
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • salt & pepper
  • lemon wedges



Step 1

Cook pasta in rapidly boiling salted water until al dente (8-10 minutes). Drain. Place pasta back in warm pasta pot.

While pasta is cooking, steam asparagus for 3 minutes or til tender.

Add butter to pasta, stir well to coat. Add Parmesan, salt and pepper. Gently toss in cooked asparagus. Squeeze lemon atop pasta, if desired. Serve immediately.
