Ingredients
- 4 c. coconut
- 1/4 c. shortening
- 1/4 c. light corn syrup
- 1 (11 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
- 26 whole almonds, toasted & chopped

Preparation
Step 1
Butter a 13x9" pan. Place coconut & almonds in large bowl. Microwave syrup until it boils, immediately pour over coconut. Work into coconut until thoroughly coated. Press into prepared pan. Melt chocolate chips and shortening over boiling water. Spread over coconut mixture. Let stand to set. When cooled & set, cut into small bars.
