Tomato Cheese Tart

Ingredients
- 1 picrust
- 1 pound of tomatoes, fresh
- 1 (8 ounce) container of provel ropes or 1 pkg (8 oz) shredded Italian cheese blend (divided)
- 2 t. Greek seasonings

Preparation
Step 1
Roll crust to 12 inch circle. Fit into 9-inch tart pan with removable bottom that has been sprayed withh Pam. Press dough against side of pan; trim off excess dough. Pierce bottom with tines of fork. Bake in 450 degree oven 8 minutes. Cool slightly. Reduce oven temperature to 375. Place tomato slices on paper towels to remove excess moisture. Arrange two-thirds of the cheese over crust; top with tomatoes, 1 t. of the seasoning, remaining cheese, and remining 1 t. of seasoning. Bake until cheese is golden brown, about 20 to 22 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes; remove ring from pan and cut into wedges.
