Ingredients
- 2 cups whole milk
- 2 bay leaves
- nutmeg
- 2 tbs butter
- 2 tbs flour
- salt & pepper
- garlic/onion - opt
Preparation
Step 1
Melt butter and flour and make a roux. Gradually stir in milk. Add bay leaves, nutmeg, salt and pepper to taste. Stir until thickened. Serve over pasta, fish, etc.
