Ingredients
- 4 1/2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup uncooked long grain rice
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Ground cinnamon
Preparation
Step 1
In a saucepan, combine milk, rice, sugar and salt; bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Pour into a greased 1 1/2 quart baking dish. Cover and bake at 325 for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes. Add vanilla, cover and bake for 15 minutes. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Serve warm or chilled. Store in the refrigerator.
