pounds tenderized boneless beef round steak
tablespoon vegetable oil
large onions, cut in ½ inch slices
cups sliced mushrooms (or more if you love mushrooms)
can (10-¾ oz.) condensed cream of mushrooom soup
teaspoons garlic salt
cups hot cooked rice
1. Cut steak into thin strips. In a large skillet brown meat in oil, using high heat. 2. Add onions and mushrooms. Saute until onions are tender crisp. 3. Blend soup, water, and garlic salt. Pour over steak mixture. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 1 hour or until steak is tender. Serve over rice.
