Ingredients

  • 1 package Hillshire farm smoke sausage
  • 1 (16 ounce) package uncooked mostaccioli noodles
  • 3 cups small fresh broccoli pieces
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 cup grated Romano or Parmesan cheese
  • 1/3 cup heavy whipping cream

Preparation

Step 1

1. Cut sausage into 1/2" slices set aside. Cook pasta in a large pan of boiling water according to package directions; drain and keep warm.

2. Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium - high heat for 3 minutes. Add sausage and broccoli; cook, stirring frequently 4 to 5 minutes or until broccoli is tender. Add red pepper flakes if desired; cook and stir 1 minute.

3. Gently toss together cooked pasta, sausage mixture, cheese and whipping cream, in a large serving bowl.
