    c flour

    c yellow cornmeal

  • 1/2

    t soda

  • 1/2

    t baking powder

  • 1

    t salt

  • 1

    egg

  • sugar

  • buttermilk

Directions

Use enough buttermilk to make batter like gravy - not quite as thin as pancake batter. I use 2 black iron skillets (1 10 1/2 inch and 1 8 inch). Put about 1T oil in skillets and heat. 450 oven. Flip with spatula when it starts to brown.
