- 1 (1 lb.6 oz.) can cherry pie filling
- 1 yellow cake mix
- 1 (1 lb. 4 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
- 1 c. coconut (optional)
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 1 c. melted butter or margarine
Spread pie filling evenly in bottom of greased 13x9" pan. Arrange pineapple over pie filling (do not stir). Sprinkle with cake mix; breaking up any lumps. Cover with melted butter. Top with coconut & nuts. Bake at 350° for 1 hour or until cake tests done.
