Ingredients

  • 1-1.5

    pound(s) green beans, washed and ends removed

  • 2

    tablespoons butter

  • 5

    cloves garlic, smashed

  • 3

    tablespoons balsamic vinegar

  • 1/4

    cup grated parmesan cheese

  • Salt & Pepper

Directions

1- Pour 1 cup of water in a large deep skillet. Bring to a boil. Add the green beans, cover. Allow to steam about 5-7 minutes, checking for tenderness. 2- Drain. Add the butter and garlic, stirring continually until evenly coated. Add the balsamic, stir well. 3- Season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle on the parmesan cheese. Cover and allow to sit a couple minutes so the cheese melts. Serve hot.
