Gelatin Spritz Cookies

MY NOTES: I have made these several times. A stronger flavor of gelatin like lime or cherry are best. Peach gelatin needs a little boost like a couple of drops of flavor oil.

I also used 1 cup butter and ½ cup coconut oil which turned out just fine

Ingredients

  • 3 c all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 c butter
  • 1 (3oz) package fruit flavored gelatin
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 c white sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Preparation

Step 1

Cream butter, sugar and gelatin. Add egg and vanilla. Beat well.

Gradually add flour and baking powder. Blend until smooth.

Place dough in cookie press. Press onto ungreased cookie sheets and bake at 400° for 7-10 minutes.
