Oatmeal Cherry Cookies

These oatmeal cherry cookies could very well be my favorite oatmeal cookie recipe. The cookies are full of flavor with a hint of cherry.

Ingredients

• 1 c of butter, softened
• 1 c of brown sugar
• 1/2 c of sugar
• 2 eggs, beaten
• 2 t of vanilla
• 1 1/2 c of all-purpose flour
• 1 t of baking powder
• 2 t of cinnamon
• 1/2 salt
• 3 c of oats
• 1 c of dried cherries

Preparation

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, mix butter and sugar. Add eggs, and vanilla. Set mix aside. In separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda,cinnamon, and salt and mix well. Combine mixtures together. Stir in oats and cherries. Drop tablespoons of cookie dough, 2 inches aprart, on ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350 ° for 12 minutes. Cool on wire rack.
