No bake peanut butter cookies

  • 2 C. sugar
  • 1/4 C. margarine
  • 1/2 C. milk
  • 1 C. peanut butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 C. rolled oats

Preparation

Step 1

In a large saucepan, stir together sugar, margarine, and milk. Bring to a full boil over medium heat. Continue to boil for one minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and slowly stir in peanut butter and vanilla. Stir until peanut butter is melted and then blend in oats. Roll into 1-inch balls and flatten with a fork. Refrigerate for a few minutes to harden.
