Calico Beans

Ingredients

• 1/2 lb ground beef
• 1/2 lb bacon
• 1/2 c. onion, diced
• 1/2 c. ketchup
• 3/4 c. brown sugar
• 1 tsp. salt
• 1 tsp. mustard
• 2 Tbsp vinegar
• 1 (28oz) can pork and beans
• 1 (15oz) can kidney beans
• 1 (15oz) can baby green lima beans

Preparation

Step 1

Cook bacon in a saute pan. Drain grease and add ground beef to the same pan; cook and set aside. Do not drain.

In a large pot, add onion, ketchup, brown sugar, salt, mustard, vinegar, and all beans. Combine well and place in the oven.

Bake at 350° for 40 minutes uncovered, or until heated through.
