Step 1

In an extra large bowl combine 2 ½ c flour, 2 c yellow cornmeal, ½ c sugar, 4 tsp baking powder and 1 tsp salt. In a different bowl mix 3 eggs, 2 ¼ c whole milk and ½ c melted butter. Then add wet to dry and stir just until combined, do not over stir. Pour into a greased 13x9x2 disposable foil pan and bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 35-40 minutes. I tried this 10/2009 and we all liked it but it was way too much. Would be good for a party or other picnic.
