Ingredients
- 2 C milk
- 3/4 sugar
- 1 1/2 C mashed fresh nectarines
- abt. 6 medium
- 1 1/2 tsp lemon juice
- 1 1/2 C heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/8 tsp almond extract
- 1/8 tsp salt
Preparation
Step 1
In sm saucepan, heat milk
Stir in sugar until dissolved.
Cool quickly by placing pan in bowl of ice water.
stir for 2 min.
In sm. bowl, combine nectarined & lemon juice.
In lge. bowl, combine milk mixture, cream, extracts & salt.
Stir in nectarine mixture.
Fill cylinder of ice cream freezer 2/3rds full.
Freeze according to manufacture's directions.
transfer to freezer container.
Freeze for 2-4 hrs. before serving
