Ingredients
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 1/2 tsp minced garlic
- 2 TBL olive oil
- 1 TBL unsalted butter
- S & P to taste
- 6 oz dried linguine
- 1/2 LB asparagus, trimmed, peeled,
- & sliced thin diagonally
- 2 TBL dry white wine
- 1 TBL water
- 1 TBL fresh lemon juice
- or to taste
- 2 TBL freshly grated parmesan cheese
Preparation
Step 1

6 oz dried linguine
1/2 LB asparagus, trimmed, peeled,
& sliced thin diagonally
2 TBL dry white wine
1 TBL water
1 TBL fresh lemon juice
or to taste
2 TBL freshly grated parmesan cheese
Instructions:
in heavy skillet, cook onion & garlic in oil & butter over mod heat,
stirrin until mixture is golden
season w/ S & P
while vegies are cooking, cook linguine in kettle of boiling, salted
water for 10 min, or according to pkg. instructions for al dente
drain
meanwhile, add asparagus to skillet & cook mixture over mod. heat,
stirring, for 2 min.
add wine & cook mixture, stirring, for 2 more min.
remove skillet from heat & add water, lemon juice, linguine, parmesan
S & P
toss well
