Ingredients
- 1 LB chicken tenderloins
- 1/4 C chicken broth
- 3 TBL lemon juice
- 3 TBL butter, cuber
- 1 TBL grated lemon peel
- 2 lg garlic cloves, peeled & sliced
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp white pepper
- 2 TBL minced fresh parsley or
- 2 tsp dried parsley flakes
- 2 TBL minced fresh thyme or 2
- tsp dried thyme
- 2 tsp cornstarch
- 2 tsp cold water
- hot cooked rice, optional
Preparation
Step 1
in 1 1/2 qt slow cooker, combine 1st 8 ingredients
cover & cook on low for 1 1/2 hrs
add parsley & thyme
cover
cook 30 min longer or until chicken juices run clear
remove chicken to plate & keep warm
transfer juices to sm. saucepan
combine cornstarch & water until smooth
add to juices
bring to boil
cook & stir for 2 min or until thickened
serve w/ chicken & rice if desired
