Ingredients
- 2 3/4 cups all purpose flour
- 2 T granulated sugar
- 2 T baking powder
- 1 T salt
- 1/4 t Oregano, dried
- 1/4 t thyme, driwed
- pinch of dillweed,dried
- 12 oz High country Brewing House Beer, room temp.
- 1 T butter, melted
Preparation
Step 1
Stir dry ingredients together in a large bowl (keeps 1 month at room temp in a bag in airtight container)
Stir in just enough beer to mix in the flour. Pour the mixture into a greased 8"X4" loaf pan
Bake at 375 for 45 min or until crusty and golden brown
Let stand in the pan for 5 min, turn out onto rack
Brush top with butter
