- 24 cups popped popcorn (microwave or air-popped)
- 1 cup butter
- 2 cups packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon vanilla

Step 1
Preheat oven to 250. Coat the bottom and sides of a large roasting pan with nonstick spray. (Susie likes to use 2 pans....I've used 2 large cookie sheets with sides)
In a dutch oven slowly melt butter; stir in brown sugar, corn syrup and salt. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly; boil for 5 minutes without stirring. Remove from heat and stir in baking soda and vanilla.
Gradually pour over popcorn, mixing well. Bake 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Cool completely and serve.
