Gefilte Fish loaf

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg Frozen gefilte fish (gluten free is available)
  • 1 pkg frozen salmon gefilte fish ( if not available, can use canned) or use 2 pakgs of frozen gefilte fish
  • 1 pkg frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
  • 1-2 eggs

Preparation

Step 1

Thaw gefilte fish and put 1/2 into a well greased loaf pan

Mix drained spinach with salmon. Be sure to remove bones and skins if using canned salmon.

Add 1-2 eggs to hold salmon mixture together.

Spread all the salmon mixture on top of fish already in loaf pan.

Top with rest of gefilte fish so you have 3 layers with the spinach/salmon mixture in the middle.

Bake at 325* til starts to turn golden. I think it was almost an hour.

Chill.
Slice before serving with horseradish.
