Ingredients
- 2.5 cups flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1.5 tsp ginger
- 2.5 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4-1/2 cup chopped candied ginger
- 3/4 cup butter frozen
- 3/4 cup cream + mor4e for brushing
- 2 tsp. zest
- 1 cup buttermilk

Step 1
Pre heat oven to 400F
Mix dry ingredients. Cut in butter. Stir in ginger and zest. Add buttermilk. Knead dough. Divide in half. Pat each out to 3/4 inch thick. Cut into wedges. bake 15-20 minutes
