Blackberry Crisp

This is a great recipe from the WIlliams and Sonoma Catalog.

Ingredients

  • Crust Topping:
  • 1 C flour
  • 1 C sugar
  • 1 t baking powder
  • 1 egg beaten
  • Filling:
  • 2 T flour
  • 3/4 C sugar
  • 4-5 C blackberries, fresh or frozen
  • 1 stick melted butter

Preparation

Step 1

Combine all dry ingredients together. Add egg and mix until crumbly.

Prepare filling without the butter. Transfer to a 9 x 9 pan. Top filling with crust then drizzle with melted butter.

Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes or until lightly browned.
