Pasta - Gnocchi Chicken Skillet

Ingredients

  • 1 package (10 ounces) potato gnocchi
  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 tablespoons Crisco® Pure Olive Oil
  • 1 jar (26 ounces) spaghetti sauce
  • 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Shredded Parmesan cheese, optional

Preparation

Step 1

Prepare gnocchi according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a
large skillet, cook chicken and onion in oil over medium heat until
chicken is no longer pink. Stir in the spaghetti sauce, oregano and
salt.
Drain gnocchi; add to skillet. Cover and cook for 10-15 minutes or
until heated through. Serve with cheese if desired. Yield: 4
servings.
