  • 1 3-4 pound chicken
  • butter
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder



Step 1

Preheat oven to 325 F
Rinse and clean chicken, pat dry.
Melt butter, add salt, pepper and garlic powder, then brush mixture all over chicken.
Place chicken in roasting pan breast up.
Cook for about 20-25 minutes per pound.
Meat thermometer reads 165 F
