Chili Con Queso
- 1 large can Ortega Chiles - (27 oz)
- 1 pound sliced Swiss cheese
- 10 eggs
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1/2 pint whipping cream
- 1 large onion chopped
- Butter for sauteing
- 1 jar salsa
Into a large ungreased casserole, place alternate layers of chiles and cheese. Beat eggs, add flour and cream. Pour over casserole and bake at 350 degrees about 1 hour.
Saute onions in butter. Add a jar of salsa to onions. Spread over casserole. Bake 15 minutes more.
Wonderful for breakfast, lunch, or dinner!
