Ingredients
- PASTRY:
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup lard (tender flakes)
- 2 tablespoons baking powder
- Pinch salt
- 1 egg (whisk and add enough water to make one cup)
- FILLING:
- 1 cup raisins (boil in water and drain off water)
- add 2-3 tbsp butter
- 2 beaten eggs
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla

Preparation
Step 1
For the pastry:
Mix flour, baking powder, salt together. Blend lard with flour mixture. Use pastry blender. Mix in egg mixture. Put in fridge and wrapped with saran wrap for an hour
For the filling.
Once you drain the water off the raisins add the rest of the ingredients.
Bake at 350 till golden brown.
