Ingredients
- 2 lb. eye of round
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 tsp. Salt
- 2 tsp. Paprika
- 2 lg. onions, sliced
- 4-6 carrots, sliced
- 1 lg. can diced tom.
- 1 - 16 .oz. can tom. sauce
- 2-3 cups boiling water
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 cup butter
Preparation
Step 1
Sauté onions, carrots in butter - remove. Cut roast into ½+ in. slices, combine flour, paprika, salt, coat meat and brown both sides - remove. Make rue with remaining flour, boiling water. Add tom. and sauce. Bring to boil to thicken. Put meat in baking dish, add veggies and pour sauce over. Cover with foil. Bake at 325 for 2 hours. Serve over rice or noodles.
