Pistachio Biscotti with White Chocolate Topping 0 Picture

Ingredients

  • 1/2 C butter
  • 1 1/2 C sugar
  • 1 t baking soda
  • 1 t baking powder
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 t lemon zest
  • 1 t lemon extract
  • 3 c flour
  • 1 c chopped pistachios
  • 1 c chopped macadamia nuts
  • 12 oz good white chocolate
  • 1/4 c finely chopped pistachios
  • 1/4 c finely chopped macadamia nuts

Preparation

Step 1

Oven 350 degrees

Mix everything but the white chocolate and finely chopped nuts. shape into 2 logs. Bake 350 for 35-40 Minutes or until beginning to brown. Remove and slice. Return to oven and bake 5 minutes more on each side. Melt chocolate in microwave carefully. If chocolate is too thick add 1-2 T Crisco to thin it. Spread some on each biscotti and sprinkle with nuts.
