Ingredients

  • 8 Cans Beans (Pinto, red/white kidney, black)
  • 10 oz. BBQ sauce
  • 1 red onion
  • 1/2 red bell
  • 1/2 yellow bell
  • 2 stalks celery
  • 1 Serrano or jalapeño
  • 10-12 oz. brown sugar
  • Bacon for frying
  • 1/4 cup bourbon

Preparation

Step 1

Smoke brisket for approx. 3 hours. Coursely grind.

Lightly sauté onion, bell peppers, celery and chilies in bacon with fat. Mix in bourbon, beans with juice, ground meat and brown sugar. Mix thoroughly.

Add all ingredients into smoking pan and continue smoking for two hours or bake at 325 for one hour.
