Grilled Lemon-Sage Chicken

Ingredients

  • Marinade:
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1/4 C fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 C chopped fresh sage leaves
  • 1 Tbl chopped fresh rosemary or 1 tsp dried, crushed
  • 2-3 garlic closes, minced
  • 1 tsp black peppercorns, cracked
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Chicken:
  • 6 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
  • 6 lemon slices, cut in half
  • Fresh sage leaves

Preparation

Step 1

In large resealable bag, combine marinade ingredients.

Lightly flatten chicken to 1/4-inch thickness, then add to marinade. Seal bag and turn to coat. Refrigerate 30 minutes to 8 hours, turning occasionally.

Remove chicken from marinade. Grill 6-7 minutes per side. Garnish with lemon slices and sage leaves.
