MELK TERT

Ingredients

  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon cornflour
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • ¼ cup flour
  • Pinch salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon marg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1 prepared pie shell (shortcrust)
  • Cinnamon

Preparation

Step 1

Boil milk

Mix sugar, flour, cornflour, salt and egg

Pour boiling milk onto the sugar mixture, stirring continuously.

Return mixture to pot and cook until mixture thickens.

Remove from stove and beat in marg and vanilla essence.

Fill prepared pie shell.

Sprinkle liberally with cinnamon.

Allow time to cool and set before serving.

Enjoy
