Creme Fraiche

Ingredients

  • 2 C heavy cream
  • 1/4 C buttermilk or sour cream

Preparation

Step 1

combine cream & buttermilk in sterile jar w/ tight fitting lid

shake to combine
let stand @ room temp until thickened, 24-48 HRS

shake gently
chill until ready to use
(it will continue to thicken as it chills)

creme fraiche keeps in frig for up to 2 wks.
