- 9 C Chex cereal
- 1 C semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 C smooth peanut butter
- 1/4 C butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 C powdered sugar
Measure cereal into a large bowl with a lid and set aside.
In a 1 quart microwave safe bowl, heat chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter for 1 minute on high heat. Stir. Microwave 30 seconds longer or until melted and smooth. Stir in vanilla.
Pour chocolate mixture over cereal and stir well to coat all pieces. Add powdered sugar and shake until completely coated, I like to add more sugar to really coat the cereal. Store in an airtight container at room temp, or in the fridge.
